I bought 15 RYOBI tools at The Home Depot with my own money, and some of them just hit shelves. This post covers what each one does and where it earns a spot, from the PSBCS02K cut-off tool to the RYi1802BT power station. Half of these, most people have never seen.

RYOBI Tools at The Home Depot: What I Bought and What Each One Does
RYOBI keeps adding tools to The Home Depot shelves, and I keep buying them. This batch covers four areas. There are shop tools, lights, truck and automotive tools, and emergency power.
The common thread is batteries. Most of these run on the RYOBI 18V packs a lot of people already own. The lights run on the smaller USB lithium platform, and the big power station runs on 40V.

RYOBI 40V and 18V Power Station for Power Outages
If you already own RYOBI 40V or 18V batteries, a power station turns them into backup power. When the lights go out, it keeps your phone and devices charged. In an extreme emergency, it might even power a small heater.
The RYOBI 40V Power Station (RYi1802BT) I tested has three 120V outlets up front, and each one is a 15 amp circuit. You also get USB-C and USB-A ports. A screen shows how many batteries are connected and the charge level of each.
To turn on the 120V outlets, you push and hold the number two button. The screen then shows the load on each outlet as a percentage. That tells you how hard you are working it before you trip anything.
There are four battery slots, and RYOBI recommends at least a 5Ah battery in each. It comes with a power cord, so it also charges the batteries sitting in it. There is a front work light with two modes plus a red light.
It also connects over Bluetooth to the RYOBI app. You can check the batteries and load from your phone without walking over to it. There is an 18V version (RYI818BT) too, if that is the platform you are on.
I think this is a must-have if you already own the 40V or 18V batteries. It works at home, at a campsite, or anywhere you need power.

RYOBI 18V Cut-Off Tool: What It Cuts and How I Use It
The RYOBI 18V Cut-Off Tool (PSBCS02K) is one of the most versatile tools I have ever used from RYOBI. It cuts metal, tile, plastic, and more. You just swap on the right wheel for the material.
We put a gazebo on our deck to get full roof coverage, and I hung gutter across the front. I used this tool to cut notches so everything fit together. It cut the gutter extremely well.
A push switch runs the wheel forward or reverse. That lets you choose which way the offcut and shavings get thrown. When I cut metal, I flip it so the debris goes away from me.
A guard drops down so you can set your depth of cut. There is also onboard storage, so spare discs stay with the tool. It runs on any RYOBI 18V battery.

RYOBI Automotive Tools: Jump Starter, Tire Inflator, and Ratchet
If you drive, these three can save you when you are stranded. They can also save you a trip to the service station. They all run on RYOBI 18V batteries.
RYOBI 18V Jump Starter
The RYOBI 18V Jump Starter (P7110) runs off a standard RYOBI 18V battery. Pop the battery in, then push and hold the motor icon to prime it. It tells you when it is ready, and then you jump your vehicle.
It also has a light with a couple of modes to help you get seen on the side of the road. It is a simple kit that is really nice to have on hand when you need it.

RYOBI 18V Tire Inflator
I bought the RYOBI 18V Inflator (PCL001B) last year and have used it many times. It airs up tires that drop as temperatures change. When I had a nail in a tire, it got me to the service station.
Put a battery in, power it on, and set your target pressure. It airs up the tire and stops automatically at that pressure. It is crazy good value and can save you from changing a tire.

RYOBI ONE+ HP 3/8 Inch Cordless Ratchet
The RYOBI 3/8 inch Ratchet (PSBRC26B) works with the 3/8 sockets you probably already own. It is great for vehicles, but also for putting things together around the house and shop. It is ONE+ HP, so it is brushless with good power and battery life.
A flip switch locks out the trigger so it will not run by accident. You set direction on the back of the head, just like a hand ratchet. There is also a version that takes 1/4 inch sockets if that is what you have more of.

I own and have tested a bunch of RYOBI work lights. I will admit I have a flashlight problem. These four run on the RYOBI USB lithium platform, and every one has low, medium, and high settings.

RYOBI USB Lithium Pivoting Light
The RYOBI Pivoting Light (FVL54K) has a head that locks straight or at almost 90 degrees either way. Push and hold the button for a laser pointer. It clips on and has a magnetic base.
I have gotten into rucking, walking the neighborhood with a pack of about 45 pounds. I go in the dark, so I clip this to my pack strap. That way I can see and, more importantly, be seen.

RYOBI USB Lithium Inspection Light
The new RYOBI Inspection Light (FVL56K-FVB02) shares the same body as the pivoting light but throws a flatter light. It has the same clip, so it might be the better option for rucking. The magnetic base sticks to any metal.
That makes it handy for working inside or under a car. Stick it where you need it and keep both hands free.

RYOBI USB Lithium Headlamp
When I saw the RYOBI Headlamp (FVL61K), I realized I did not have one and needed one. The light pivots up and down, so you can aim it above you, straight down, or straight ahead. The headband base is magnetic, so the light clicks on and also sticks to metal.
It uses a strip of LEDs that is very bright on low, medium, or high. There is also a spotlight mode for more direct light. You get the best of both worlds.

RYOBI USB Lithium Area Light
The RYOBI Area Light (FVL59K) is almost a little lantern. It gives off a soft light instead of a harsh one. It has a hanger for overhead use and a carabiner for a backpack or tent.
The run time on these USB lithium lights is insanely long, and the batteries recharge. The batteries are also USB-C, so one can charge your phone.

RYOBI USB Lithium Charger and Power Source
You can charge USB lithium batteries in the tools, but the RYOBI Charger and Power Source (FVCH03) holds three at once. It charges them one at a time, and the lights change color as they charge. It also works as a power bank.
Plug a USB-C cable into the bottom and charge a tablet or phone during a power outage. If you already own the tools, you already have the batteries to make it a power pack.

RYOBI 18V 3000 Lumen Spotlight
If you are on the 18V platform, the RYOBI 3000 Lumen Spotlight (PCL661B) is the one to look at. It puts out 3,000 max lumens, enough to make a field glow like daylight. The trigger cycles through low, medium, and high.
It has a spot to hang it up, too. I like having lights like this around for emergencies or for work. If you already have 18V batteries, you might as well have a giant spotlight.

RYOBI Micro Tech Screwdriver Kit: Small Screws Without Stripping
The RYOBI Microtechnology Screwdriver Kit (FVD02K) had just been released when I ordered it. It is a bit kit with an electric screwdriver, made for eyeglasses, computers, and anything with tiny screws you do not want to strip. It is useful all around the house.
What makes it cool is how compact and complete it is. Inside are the micro bits you will need, an extension, a pry bar for small electronics, and tweezers for tiny screws. Longer bits sit on one side and shorter ones on the other.
Open the case and the screwdriver pops up. It recharges over USB-C, so your phone charger works, and a charging cable is included.
My favorite part is the magnet on the bottom. A Phillips bit would not pick up a metal screw until I touched it to that magnet. After that, the bit held the screw.
You can magnetize any bit in the kit this way. It is as handy as a shirt pocket.

RYOBI 23 Gauge Pin Nailer and 18 Gauge Brad Nailer
I love pin nailers and have used them a ton around the shop. A 23 gauge pin is tiny, with no head at all. It tacks on small pieces without splitting the wood or leaving a nail head to fill.
I have used pin nailers to add small 1/4 inch trim to my miter station and router station. The RYOBI 23 Gauge Pin Nailer (PCL310B) works the same way. Load the pins, put on an 18V battery, and you are driving pins.
I also own the RYOBI 18 Gauge Brad Nailer (P322). I think it is one of the better value brad nailers out there. Adding the pin nailer gives me both sizes on one battery platform.

RYOBI 18V Handheld Inflator and Blower for Shop Cleanup
The RYOBI Handheld Inflator/Blower (PCL016B) is marketed for pool floats and air mattresses. In the shop, I use it to dust off the workbench, my tools, and myself before going in the house. It also blows dust out of crevices.
A lot of people use these for car detailing. They blow water out from around headlights and door handles to prevent water spots.
It comes with four tips for different airflow, plus a bag to keep them in. You can store two tips on the tool itself. I wish all four had onboard storage, but it is still a nice pickup.
