New Tools at Lowe’s for 2026: 11 Finds Including the Klein Wrench That Replaces Your Adjustable Wrench

By Matt Outlaw  ·  731 Woodworks  ·  October 21, 2026

These are the new tools at Lowe's I think most people have not found yet. The standout is the Klein Tools 5076RTK adjustable wrench with sockets. I also cover the Bosch GSR18V-800FCB24 multi-head drill, the Skil RT1324-00 trim router, and the DeWALT DCS359B multi-tool that barely rippled a cup of water.

The Short Answer

  • The best new tool at Lowe's right now is the Klein Tools 5076RTK adjustable wrench, because it doubles as a 3/8 inch socket driver.
  • The best value is the Skil RT1324-00 trim router, about $79 when I filmed, while similar routers run $130 to $150.
  • The most surprising is the DeWALT DCS359B multi-tool, which isolates the head so almost no vibration reaches your hand.
  • For cabinet work, the Bosch 18V multi-head drill swaps between 90 degree, offset, and standard chuck heads.

New Tools at Lowe's Worth Buying in 2026

I went through the newest tools on the shelf at Lowe's and pulled out the ones that solve a real problem. Here is the full list, then the details on each one.

Klein Tools 5076RTK Adjustable Wrench with Sockets

This is the one I think kills the adjustable wrench for a lot of people. One side of the jaw shows imperial sizes and the other shows metric, so you can dial in whatever nut you are working on.

The other end is what makes it different. It takes an adapter for 3/8 inch sockets, so any 3/8 socket in your shop pops on and the wrench works like a ratchet. The sockets in the kit are impact rated, and there is an extension when you need more reach.

The Klein 5076RTK takes 3/8 inch sockets right on the end of the wrench.

The kit also uses a pass through design. As you tighten a nut, the bolt comes out the back, so thread length never stops you. It all lives in a MODbox compatible case that stacks and locks with other Klein storage.

I have been buying a lot of Klein tools over the last year or so, and I have been impressed with all of them. With this one, you grab a single case and you have your wrench and your sockets together.

Watch the Full Test

The video shows each tool running, including the cup of water sitting on the DeWALT multi-tool while it cuts. It is the easiest way to see how little that tool vibrates.

DeWALT DCS359B Oscillating Multi-Tool Vibration Test

This is one of the best DeWALT tools they have released in recent years. The head is separated from the body by a rubber type gasket that flexes and absorbs vibration before it reaches your hand.

If you have run a multi-tool for a long stretch, you know your hand goes numb and starts to sting. The first time I powered this one on, I was surprised at how little vibration there was compared to every other multi-tool I have used.

To prove it, I set a cup of water on top while it ran. On some sanders, that same test shows ripples all over the water. On this multi-tool there was almost nothing, even while cutting. You can still feel a little in your hand, but it is nothing like the others.

The water barely moves while the DeWALT DCS359B runs.

It also has a toolless blade change, a trigger lockout, four speeds, and a bright LED. It takes any of your multi-tool blades, and you can reposition them however you need.

Bosch 18V Multi-Head Drill GSR18V-800FCB24 Review

Bosch has been showing out with new tools over the last few months, and this drill is no different. The kit comes with two batteries, a charger, the drill, and three heads: a 90 degree head, an offset head, and a standard chuck.

Swapping heads is simple. You twist to unlock, rotate the head to any position you want, then lock it back in. The offset head lets you get right up against the edge of a cabinet to drive screws, which is why I like these drills for cabinet work.

You do not give up anything as a regular drill. It is a two speed drill with clutch settings and a drill mode. It is not a hammer drill.

Bosch Kickback Control You Can Turn Off

It has anti-rotation. If the bit binds, the drill senses the rotation and shuts the motor down, and the light flashes. You let off the trigger and you are back in business.

What I have not seen before is a kickback button on top. Push it and the anti-rotation switches off for the times you do not want it to trigger.

It also comes in a 1 battery kit, the GSR18V-535FCB15.

The drill runs on the Bosch 18V platform, which has gotten a lot better over the last year or two. The Bosch 18V router is one of my favorite trim routers. If you drop it, it shuts the motor off, and the micro adjustment is like no other. Their track saws are really good too.

Skil RT1324-00 Trim Router: Best Budget Router at Lowe's

For the price, this is one of the better value trim routers out there. It was about $79 when I filmed, while a lot of competitors this size run $130 to $150.

It is a 1.5 HP variable speed router with a D shaped base. I like the D base for edge profiles because it gives you more surface to rest on the workpiece. Round bases are better for tight spaces.

It has a micro adjust dial for bit height and a soft start, so it does not jerk when you power it on. I ran an edge profile on walnut with no burning. It is a trim router, so it is made for light work, not heavy cuts.

New Kobalt Drill KDD 1424AT2 With Anti-Rotation

If you have not been following Kobalt, you are missing out. They have released a lot of new tools in the last couple of months, along with new tabless batteries that bring more power and more battery life.

This drill has anti-rotation and comes with a side handle when you need extra grip. It goes up to 22 on the clutch, has a drill mode, and is two speed.

I ran a 1 7/8 inch Forstner bit through pine with zero issues. If you want a solid drill for the shop or the house, it is worth a look.

Best Pencil for Marking Dark Wood: Klein Tools Mechanical Pencil

On dark wood like walnut or wenge, or on carbon steel, a standard pencil mark is hard to see. You end up squinting and tilting the board to catch the light.

Klein's mechanical pencil fixes that with colored leads. The multi-color pack comes with two yellow, two red, and two white leads. The pencil itself comes with extra graphite leads.

Yellow lead from the Klein pencil shows up clearly on walnut.

It rides in a carrier that clips into a shirt or apron pocket. The other end has a sharpener, so you twist the pencil in to sharpen the tip.

Johnson 1886-1000 Dual Screen Digital Angle Finder

I have never seen an angle finder with screens on both the front and the top. You can read your measurement from either side, which is handy when setting a blade.

Set it on a surface and hold the button to zero it out. That becomes your absolute zero, so you can set a blade to 45 degrees and read it right off the screen.

Push another button and it switches to the shop temperature in Fahrenheit, and again for Celsius. It is also magnetic, so it sticks to anything metal. For the price, I think a lot of people are going to want one.

New DeWALT Cordless Heat Gun

This is not a drill. It is DeWALT's new heat gun, and it gets up to 990°F, or 532°C. It has two speeds and comes with two nozzle attachments to direct the heat.

The trigger has a safety you flip up before you pull, and you can lock the trigger so you do not have to hold it. The kit comes with a 2Ah battery, a charger, and the accessories.

Around the shop, I use a heat gun on heat shrink and to pop air bubbles out of epoxy. It also works for drying off a workbench after you spill a cup of water on it.

Klein Tools 32502HD Screwdriver and Socket Set

This is another Klein multi-kit in a MODbox case. It is similar to their flip sockets, but built as a screwdriver instead of a nut driver. I have the 14-in-1 flip socket, and a lot of people have been picking that one up.

The screwdriver bits flip over, and the tips pop out, so you can use any of the Torx and other bits included. Flip the handle over and you get a 3/8 inch drive, with adapters for the deep well sockets.

Klein's pass through sets also fit these handles, so everything works together. If you want small tools under $50 like this, I put together a list of the best tools at Lowe's under $50.

Klein Tools 32308 Adjustable Stubby Screwdriver

I had never seen a stubby screwdriver with an adjustable length. It gets into short spaces, and it also extends and locks at notches along the shaft.

The bits store inside the handle, and the end is magnetic, so you can use any 1/4 inch bit you already own. If you need a multi-bit driver that adjusts its length, this one fits the bill.

Klein Tools 44125 Utility Blade Dispenser

It works like an old Pez dispenser, but for utility blades. Push the slide on top and a blade comes out, and the rest stay protected so you do not cut yourself.

A counter on the front shows how many blades are left, up to 50. The Klein utility knife is one of my favorites and I use it all the time, so this is a handy pairing.
