HP Spectre x360 15.6 Radeon RX Vega M Problems
Just an update to my previous post about the HP Spectre x360. I had to return it for constant crashing, lag and overheating. Check out the video below for the full scoop.

The HP Spectre x360 lags when it gets hot and it gets extremely hot. What I assume is happening is that the Spectre x360 is thermal throttling and then crashing giving me the blue screen. The Spectre x360 VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE error keeps happening over and over.
HP Spectre x360 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8705G Raden RX Vega M Graphics 4GB problems with lag and crashes. The Spectre x360 problems shown and discussed in this video forced me to return it. The Spectre x360 with Radeon RX Vega graphics lagging. Spectre x360 gaming on Civilization VI was lagging as seen in the video. Gaming on the HP Spectre x360 was a no go for me. Maybe it is driver issues but the computer gets extremely hot and then the lag starts. Spectre x360 running DaVinci Resolve for video editing was also lagging and would crash when attempting to export videos. The Spectre x360 crashed over and over since day 1. The HP Spectre x360 crashing constantly with error codes of VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE and THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE-DRIVER errors. After about 45 minutes to an hour of use on the computer, the x360 would crash over and over with those 2 errors. I only had the Spectre x360 15" for 4 days. The HP Spectre is a beautiful 2 in 1 laptop but sadly it has too many problems for me to keep it.
I ended up ordering a Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop. I will do a review on it in the coming weeks.
