The One Makita Tool I Regret Buying

I hate to say it but this one is a hard pass. This five inch Makita corded sander with a front handle literally shocked me every time I used it. Not a static zap either. A full-on jolt.
Why I don’t recommend it
Poor dust collection
Weak performance and vibration control
Unacceptable electrical issues
If you are looking for a five inch sander under 100 dollars, go with the DeWALT or Craftsman. Both are reliable and comfortable to use.
Bonus Pick
Makita’s teal-coated saw blades are excellent. They give you clean cuts with minimal tear-out and very little heat buildup. Definitely worth trying if you’re tired of replacing dull or cheap blades.
