DIY Dresser Video - How to build a dresser

Check out this how to build a dresser video! I was so proud of how this project came out. Mainly because it was a gift for my daughter. I had never tried to build a DIY dresser before and I had never built recessed drawers. So I was a little nervous going into the project but it was something that I wanted to attempt. I watched a few videos online to get a grasp of how to go about building the dresser, then jumped right in. In the end, it turned out to be a farmhouse glam or modern glam style dresser. Not to blow my own horn, but I think this is one of the more beautiful pieces I have made. A lot of my furniture has been farmhouse, rustic style. But this piece is more modern, contemporary style. This dresser features 7 full extension drawers. The dresser measures 38 inches tall, 18 inches deep and 61 1/2 inches long. The supplies used to build this project include: 2 sheets of 4’ x 8’ 3/4” sanded birch plywood. 1 sheet of 1/4” plywood. One 2x8x8’. Three 1x6x10’. 1-1/4” pocket hole screws. Wood glue. This project was a little more expensive with the supply bill coming in at a little over $250.
