Stove Top Cover for Electric or Gas Stoves | DIY How-To
I made video on how to build a stove top cover almost 2 years ago now and have learned a lot over that time about making them. In this video I’ll show you new techniques and tricks I’ve learned to build my stove covers faster and better. A noodle board works great as an electric stove cover or a gas stove cover. Please ensure that your stove is off and completely cool before placing the cover on the range top. Also use extreme caution if your stove a lit pilot light that is on all the time. These boards will catch fire! A stove cover makes for great extra storage in your kitchen. You can use the stove cover for campers, travel trailers, RV’s or your home. The only lumber you need to make an oven cover is one 10 foot 1x6 and one 8 foot 1x4. I use the Kreg K5 pocket hole jig to join the boards together. This makes the stove cover super strong.
Below you will find the build video as well as the tools and supplies I used to make this beautiful stove cover. Let me know what you think!
