The Top 50 Woodworking Tools at Lowe’s Right Now (2025)
Let’s get into it — these are the best woodworking tools I found at Lowe’s this year. Some of them absolutely shocked me with their quality and price, and a few are things I think every woodworker ought to have in the shop.
1. The WEN Miter Gauge
You wouldn’t think a miter gauge could surprise you, but the WEN Miter Gauge did. It’s sturdy, adjustable, and fits great on most standard miter slots. If you’re just getting started and want an affordable upgrade from the one that came with your table saw, this is a solid choice.
I’ve used a lot of miter gauges over the years, and this one’s accuracy and feel are honestly impressive for the price. It’s perfect for improving your crosscuts and angles without having to spend a fortune.
2. The Kobalt 24V Circular Saw
Next up, the Kobalt 24V 4-1/2" Circular Saw caught my eye — compact, powerful, and easy to handle. For quick cuts, trimming boards, or breaking down sheet goods, this little saw punches above its weight.
If you already have Kobalt 24V batteries, this is a no-brainer add-on. But if not, Lowe’s has the Kobalt 24V 2-Battery and Charger Starter Kit to get you powered up and ready to work.
3. The DEWALT Stealth Sonic Shop Vac
This one honestly blew me away (pun intended). The DEWALT Stealth Sonic Shop Vac is one of the quietest vacs I’ve used — perfect for cleaning up sawdust without feeling like you’re standing next to a jet engine.
It’s powerful enough for the shop, but quiet enough to use indoors if you’re working on projects in your house. Plus, DEWALT’s build quality means it’s going to last for years.
4. Irwin Forstner Bit Sets
If you do any kind of joinery or woodworking that requires clean, flat-bottomed holes, these are gold. The Irwin 8-Piece Forstner Bit Set is great for beginners, while the 16-Piece Set gives you just about every size you’ll ever need.
These bits cut super clean, stay sharp, and work beautifully in both drill presses and handheld drills.
5. Kobalt Miter Saws
Kobalt’s line of miter saws is seriously underrated. The Kobalt 10-Inch Miter Saw and 12-Inch Miter Saw both offer great cutting capacity and laser accuracy for their price point.
If you’re just starting out and need a reliable saw for trim work, furniture building, or framing, these Kobalt saws are worth checking out.
6. Milescraft Push Blocks and Safety Gear
Shop safety is non-negotiable — and that’s where Milescraft shines. Their Push Block with Retractable Heels gives you more control when feeding boards through the table saw, and the Grabber Pro Push Block offers extra grip and balance.
I never run my table saw without push blocks, and I recommend every woodworker invest in at least one. They’re a small price to pay for safety — and your fingers will thank you.
7. CRAFTSMAN Workbenches
If you’re setting up your first woodworking space, the CRAFTSMAN 2-Drawer Workbench is a great starter piece. It’s sturdy, has decent storage, and gives you a solid surface to work on.
For a bigger setup, Lowe’s carries all the CRAFTSMAN workbenches so you can build out your whole workspace with matching gear.
8. The Dremel Blueprint Multi-Saw Kit
Now this one’s just plain fun. The Dremel Blueprint Multi-Saw Kit is like a Swiss Army knife for woodworkers — perfect for small precision cuts, crafting, or detail work on custom projects.
Dremel’s been around forever for a reason, and this kit proves why.
9. Kobalt 24V Impact Driver
For those of you who work with a lot of fasteners, the Kobalt 24V 1/2-Inch Impact Driver is a powerhouse. It’s got excellent torque, variable speed, and a comfortable grip.
Paired with the right bit set, this thing will drive lag screws, deck screws, and bolts without breaking a sweat.
10. The Kobalt Mini Tool Box
I know it’s not a power tool, but the Kobalt Mini Tool Box is just too cool not to mention. It’s perfect for organizing bits, blades, or small hand tools.
I’ve actually got one sitting on my workbench right now for all my drill accessories — it keeps everything tidy and within reach.
Kobalt’s Hidden Gems and Pro-Level Upgrades at Lowe’s
Kobalt really came to play this year — especially with their XTR line. If you’ve ever thought of them as just a budget brand, some of these new tools might change your mind.
11. Kobalt 3-Drawer and 2-Drawer Mini Tool Boxes
If you love keeping your shop organized, you’ll want to check out the Kobalt 3-Drawer Mini Tool Box and 2-Drawer Mini Tool Box.
These little guys are perfect for storing bits, blades, small hand tools, or even your most-used accessories. They’ve got that classic Kobalt blue look and surprisingly solid build quality.
12. Kobalt 12-Ft Tape Measure
A good tape measure might not be flashy, but it’s one of the most-used tools in any shop. The Kobalt 12-Ft Tape Measure is compact, smooth, and easy to read — great for both woodworking projects and around-the-house measurements.
13. Kobalt Portable Workbench
If you’re short on space or need a mobile workstation, the Kobalt Portable Workbench is one of my favorite finds. It folds down easily, sets up fast, and gives you a solid surface wherever you’re working.
It’s awesome for weekend DIYers or anyone building a small shop setup.
14. Kobalt XTR Drill and Impact Combos
Now here’s where Kobalt really surprised me. The Kobalt XTR Drill Combo and Kobalt XTR Impact Comboare serious contenders. These are brushless, high-performance tools that can go toe-to-toe with DEWALT or Milwaukee in real-world use.
They’ve got great torque, long battery life, and feel comfortable in the hand — a big step up from their older 24V tools.
15. Kobalt Small Parts Organizer
Every woodworker needs one of these. The Kobalt Small Parts Organizer keeps screws, bolts, and hardware all in one place. The dividers are adjustable, and it’s stackable, so you can build out a full storage system over time.
16. Kobalt Hex Key Set
It might not look exciting, but the Kobalt Hex Key Set is one of those shop essentials that’s worth upgrading. These are sturdy, easy to grip, and come with a nice case so you’re not hunting for the right size.
17. Kobalt Rolling Foldable Workbench
One of the best finds from the video is the Kobalt Rolling Foldable Workbench. This thing is built for flexibility — it rolls, it folds, and it has a tough work surface.
Whether you’re working in a garage, basement, or even outdoors, this bench gives you a ton of versatility.

If you only buy one versatile power tool this year, make it the DeWALT Oscillating Multi-Tool Combo. It can sand, cut, grind, scrape — pretty much anything you throw at it.
It’s perfect for woodworking, remodeling, and trim work, and it’s built like a tank.
22. Dremel Lite
The Dremel Lite is perfect for detail work — think sanding small edges, engraving, or polishing hardware. It’s lightweight, rechargeable, and super easy to use.
23. Kobalt 3-Piece Chisel Set
You can’t beat the value of the Kobalt 3-Piece Chisel Set. They come sharp, hold an edge well, and feel great in the hand.
If you’re doing joinery or cleaning up dovetails, this is a fantastic starter set.
24. DeWALT Grabo Lifter
Now this one’s a game-changer. The DeWALT Grabo Lifter is a vacuum lifting system that helps you carry heavy boards, panels, or slabs safely and easily.
It’s one of those tools you didn’t know you needed until you use it — then you’ll wonder how you ever got by without it.
25. Irwin Construction Jack
The Irwin Construction Jack might look simple, but it’s one of the most useful tools I’ve picked up lately. It helps you hold, lift, or level materials during installation.
Perfect for hanging cabinets, adjusting doors, or even leveling furniture builds.
26. Kobalt Flashlight
The Kobalt Flashlight is compact but crazy bright — perfect for finding things under the workbench or lighting up dark corners of the shop.
I keep one in my toolbox at all times.

You can never have too many clamps. The Pony Spring Clamps are strong, affordable, and great for holding parts in place while glue dries.
They’re the kind of tool you’ll reach for more often than you think.

30. DEWALT 110-Piece Bit Set
If you want one of the best all-in-one bit kits around, the DEWALT 110-Piece Bit Set is hard to beat. You get everything from Phillips to Torx to nut drivers — all in a tough case that keeps it organized.
This is one of those sets that every woodworker and DIYer should have ready to go.
31. VEVOR Drill Bit Organizer
Keeping bits organized can be a pain, but the VEVOR Drill Bit Organizer makes it easy. It’s compact, holds a ton of bits, and helps you see everything at a glance.
It’s one of those small shop upgrades that saves you a ton of time.

33. Kobalt Mini Tool Boxes
These little tool boxes have really grown on me. The Kobalt Mini-Tool Box makes an awesome gift idea or storage option for bits and blades.
It’s not just about function — these things look great sitting on your bench too.
34. Kobalt Screwdriver Sets
If you’re after quality hand tools, the Kobalt 10-Piece Screwdriver Set and Kobalt Precision Screwdriver Set are both worth picking up.
They’ve got a comfortable grip and magnetic tips, which makes them a lot easier to use — especially in tight spots or when you’re working on small components.
35. WEN Angle Finder
This one’s a quiet favorite. The WEN Angle Finder is accurate, easy to read, and a great tool to have when you’re setting up your miter saw, bevel cuts, or even checking joinery angles.
For under-the-radar precision tools, WEN’s been putting out some really solid gear lately.
36. DEWALT 5-in-1 Drill
The DEWALT 5-in-1 Drill might just be one of the coolest new tools at Lowe’s right now. You can swap out the front attachments to make it work as a drill, impact driver, offset driver, right-angle drill, or hex driver — all in one package.
If you do a lot of cabinetry or woodworking in tight spaces, this is a serious time-saver.

The Bosch Laser Level is one of my favorite layout tools. Whether you’re hanging cabinets, installing shelving, or marking reference lines, it’s a huge time-saver.
It’s accurate, easy to use, and built to last — just like you’d expect from Bosch.
43. Irwin Quick-Lift Construction Jack

It’s an extra set of hands when you don’t have one.
