Why This Tool Is Worth It
A thickness planer is what turns rough lumber into flat, consistent stock. It also lets you buy cheaper rough sawn boards and mill them yourself.
This one runs a 15 amp, 20,000 rpm motor with a three knife cutter head. The two speed gearbox lets you choose 96 or 179 cuts per inch, so you can work fast or dial in a smoother finish.
The automatic carriage lock helps reduce snipe without any extra steps. And with a replacement knife pack in the bundle, you won’t be stuck waiting on blades.
