Amazon Prime Day 2022 is set for July 12th and 13th.

What is Prime Day? Amazon Prime Day is a HUGE 48 hour sale by Amazon. Deals will start at midnight PT on the 12th. Prime Day deals tend to sell out fast. Lightning deals, for example, can sell out in a matter of minutes. (more on lightening deals in the video below). If you you're not a Prime member, you can't participate in Prime Day.   1. Before buying anything on Amazon that’s a larger purchase, I always like to check CamelCamelCamel.com to ensure I am getting a good deal. All you have to do is copy the Amazon URL and paste it on the search bar at CamelCamelCamel to get a price history. I use this all the time when checking prices before posting to the deals on my deals blog.

  2. There will be deals leading up to Prime Day on some big name items like Apple Air Pods Pro for 30% off, Amazon Fire TV Stick is $15 off (I have 2 of these and they’re awesome), DeWALT 20v Max Drill/Impact Combo 27% off, and more!

  3. Download the Amazon Mobile App. Amazon will post App exclusive deals so be sure to check this during Prime Day.

  4. Prepare a shopping list ahead of time. Not everything available on Amazon will be on this sale. So it is important to know what is your “must-have” items and put on a list. Amazon doesn’t pre-announce their sale items, so it is always a surprise. Although they do offer early deals on products leading up to Prime Day.

  5. Competition drives low prices. Don’t forget to check other retailers for deals on Prime Day. Walmart, Target, Best Buy and others won’t go quietly and let Amazon get all the traffic.

  6. Prime Day is one of the best times to buy a Amazon devices including Kindle e-readers, Echo and Alexa Devices, Fire Tablets, and Fire TV’s. They typically drop to all-time low prices during Amazon's annual sale.
