Why This Tool Is Worth It

A full size chainsaw is overkill for a lot of trimming jobs. The Hatchet gives you an 8 inch bar in a much smaller package.

Milwaukee’s POWERSTATE brushless motor handles demanding cuts, and the full house chain helps cut down on vibration while leaving clean cuts.

The automatic oiler, easy access chain tensioner, and translucent oil reservoir keep maintenance simple. Metal bucking spikes add control, and the variable speed trigger lets you ease into each cut.

Who This Is Best For

This saw is a great fit for landowners, arborists, and anyone handling storm cleanup, fence line clearing, or regular tree trimming.

It makes the most sense if you’re already running M18 batteries. Since it’s a bare tool, you’ll need a battery and charger if you don’t have them already.

Quick Questions

Does the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Hatchet come with a battery?
No. This is a bare tool, so the battery and charger are sold separately.

Can the Hatchet saw be used for aerial work?

Does it oil the chain automatically?
Yes. It has an automatic oiler and a see through reservoir so you can check oil levels at a glance.
