Why This Tool Is Worth It
This is a serious battery. Bosch rates it for up to 140% more instantaneous maximum power and up to 120% longer runtime than its CORE18V 4Ah battery (GBA18V40).
It uses tabless cell technology, which lowers internal resistance. That means less heat, more power, and longer runtime.
Then there’s the free bare tool. Getting a new tool with a battery you’d buy anyway makes the $50 discount go a lot further.
