What’s a Lightning Deal? A Lightning Deal is one of Amazon’s short, limited-time offers that only runs for a few hours — and once it’s gone, it’s gone. You’ll see a bunch of these pop up during Big Deal Days.
Should I Wait for Black Friday? In most cases, no. Prime Big Deal Days usually offer tool and tech prices that are just as good, and sometimes even better, than what you’ll see on Black Friday. Of course, nobody can predict the future, so there’s no way to be 100% sure what deals will show up later. But here’s how I look at it, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. If you see a deal you’ve been waiting on and it’s a solid price, grab it while you can.
