I will be using the WEN 2305 for engraving wood. I will also use to for etching wood. For that purpose the WEN rotary tool performed well. I need a lot more practice to get smooth lines every time but the WEN tool did its job. And after using it for one and a half hours without stopping, the tool didn't get hot. It was only warm.
