The Massca M1 and Massca M2 feature an all aluminum construction. The only plastic on the entire jig is the dust collection port and the plastic on the front of the clamp to prevent damage to the wood. These are some of the most solid feeling jigs I’ve used.

The all metal build ensures a solid and heavy-duty pocket hole jig that's meant to last a lifetime. Speaking of lasting a lifetime, Massca jigs come with a lifetime warranty.

The Massca M1 vs M2 difference is that the M2 offers the stop blocks and work supports on each side while the M1 does not. Other than that they are identical jigs. The M2 stabilizing bars and stop blocks make it easier to work with longer boards. The stop blocks adjust allow for repetitive holes that are exactly in the same spot every time. The stop blocks/work supports secure into place with thumb screws so they won’t move. You can turn them 90 degrees to make them stop blocks or back for work supports. The adjustable depth setting also sets in place with metal thumb screws to provide a secure setting that won’t move!

The only issues I have with the jig is that small plastic piece you need to adjust the depth setting on the drill bit. I am worried that I will lose that little piece and not be able to set my depth. I would also like to see that the clamping system could auto adjust.

The Massca pocket hole jigs also feature the ability to use on stock over 2” thick by removing the jig from the base and attaching the included metal base plate.
