These plans will show you how to build a portable workbench. This bench can be built with just two 8 foot 2x10 common pine boards you can get at your local home store. You’ll need two very small pieces of hardwood for a wedge and stop block cam (detailed in the plans). This workbench uses the MicroJig Matchfit system for work holding and attaching the workbench to items like table tops, saw horses, truck tail gates and other times. I built this workbench for less than $20 in lumber! Add the cost of the match fit system and other accessories and you are still well under $150 for a fully functioning and very affordable woodworking workbench. This workbench has plane stops and a traditional style woodworking vise!
