How to build a bed frame.  In this video I show you step by step how to do a DIY bed frame. This is an easy project that doesn't take a lot of materials or special tools.  This build makes a strong bed frame that should support an adult.  Additional support may be required depending on weight.  This is for a DIY twin size bed frame but you can use this same instruction to build a full size bed frame, queen size bed frame or even an king size bed frame.  This is an easy DIY bed frame.  Check out the cut list below:

Total length of the bed frame should be 70 inches.  Total width of the bed frame should be 40 inches.  This is slightly larger than a twin size matress.
You will need the following materials:

2 - 10 foot 2x4's cut to sizes below (for aprons)
2 - 8 foot 2x6's cut to sizes below (for legs)
6 - 8 foot 1x4's cut to sizes below (for slats)

2 - 2x4 @ 37 inches
2 - 2x4 @ 70
8 - 2x6 @ 17 1/4 inches (adjust the lenght of these depending on the height you want the bed)
12 - 1x4 @ 40 inches
48 - 1 1/4 inch screws (linked below)
24 - 2 1/2 inch screws (linked below)
Wood Glue
Saw
Drill/Driver
Sander (optional but preferred)
